Del J. Paris, Jr. (Delbo) is a passionate golfer who has enjoyed the rewards and pleasures that golf has brought him for the last 35 years. He continues with a weekend hobby of golf which allows him the unique opportunity to pass along golfing experiences with the other golfers. The most satisfying benefit to him is that he has been blessed from above with the ability to not only organize, but also to execute golf trips. He fully runs The Delbo Invitational Classic golf tournament held twice a year at the Country Club of Peoria, for the past nine years. Del enjoys running these tournaments which are a club favorite among staff and members alike, a great tradition.
With the launch of this blog, Del is excited to offer directly and/or indirectly some smiles and fun into others’ lives. The pure excitement for him is seeing other people enjoying themselves, and his goal is to write stories that his readers can connect to and appreciate. After all, the greatest satisfaction one can get comes from the joy of others, especially, since his ability on the golf course some days reflects that of a golfing goat or slug.
